Welcome from the Chair of Governors

As Chair of Governors I am delighted to be part of the Stockcross school community and The Kite Primary Federation.

The role of a governing board is to work alongside and support the Executive Head Teacher, Mrs Lagares, so that she and her staff can fulfil their roles in all aspects of teaching and learning.

As governors we come from a wide range of backgrounds with skills in the field of education, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, business and well-being.

We are all volunteers who come together to use these skills to promote the ongoing development and improvement of all areas of school life.

As part of the Kite Primary Federation, alongside our sister school at Welford and Wickham, our vision is that:

“We are all respectful, loving and responsible individuals who will try our best together through challenge and perseverance.”

This is underpinned by the school’s four strong Christian values of Love, Respect, Perseverance and Challenge.
